14.65 million men & women suffer from thyroid dysfunction, and more than
half of these people go untreated. Since I created this page on 17 December
2000, I have received feedback from a variety of readers. The contents
have been edited to answer the questions I have been asked, in order to
give back to the community that helped me when I was looking for answers.
Please note, this is only one personal experience. I simply aim to add
some flesh to the statistical bones.
